The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is on its way to make its debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The note-worthy fact is that the giant is not downgrading the cover display of the phone, as it will feature an AMOLED panel on the inside as well as the outside.

A couple of days ago, even before the official launch, a few images of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 leaked online. The leaked image suggests that the Korean giant is looking forward to attaching an AMOLED panel to the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 device.

However, it appears that the Samsung employee who created that leaked spec sheet made a typo. The report says that the cover screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be similar to that of its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It will feature a 3.4-inch diagonal, the same folder-like shape, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Samsung has yet to announce the official specs and features of the phone, but following leaks and rumors, it’s expected that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The memory package could include 8GB and 12GB of RAM variants. It will feature a 50MP primary rear camera and a 4,000 mAh battery.

It will run Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. The Korean giant has added some new Galaxy AI features that could arrive on existing devices through a software update. Along with the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the brand will also launch its sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Potentially, both could be eligible for seven years of OS and security patches.
