The wait is coming to an end! Samsung’s awaited summer Galaxy Unpacked event is approaching, and now a precise date and time have been set.

Samsung enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the next Galaxy Unpacked. Leaks are rumours that have been teasing the fans for so long. Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy Unpacked event would be held on July 10.

Finally, an exact time and date for the launch event were revealed. A well-reliable tipster on X shared a countdown post suggesting the precise time of the upcoming Samsung event. As per the countdown, there are still 25 days to go for the Galaxy Unpacked event, which will end on July 10. The event will start at 22:00 Korean time, which should coincide with 15:00 Italian time. 

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event 2024 Product To Be Launched

Samsung has been gearing up to launch several new Galaxy products at the Galaxy Unpacked event, including its sixth-generation foldable phone, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and its first smart wearable ring, Galaxy Ring. The brand is also expected to expand its smartwatch family by introducing the Galaxy Watch 7 series, which, in addition to the base model, should include an Ultra variant. 

The Korean giant is also expected to introduce the new tablets in the Galaxy Tab S10 range as well as new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro true wireless headphones.

Samsung to provide Galaxy Watch Ultra exclusive faces to older Galaxy watches

Samsung has recently introduced its new flagship smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. These watches are equipped with the latest hardware and software to offer users more capabilities.

However, many software capabilities will also be available for the older watches with the One UI 6 watch update. From those capabilities, new cool watch faces are now confirmed to be available for older watches.

According to the Samsung moderator, Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra exclusive watch faces will be available for older Galaxy watches, including Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6.

However, he has not mentioned the availability of new faces for older watches. Still, according to traditions, the company may introduce them with a dedicated software update in the next few months.

It is not the first time that the latest watch faces have expanded to older watches. Earlier, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 also grabbed the One UI 5 watch faces with a dedicated software update.

One UI 7 to bring crucial changes for UI and new Galaxy AI features

Samsung has started a new era with its Galaxy AI-powered features which arrived with the One UI 6.1 update earlier this year, but from the last few updates, Samsung hasn’t focused on the UI changes but fortunately, we may see some crucial changes in the UI changes.

According to the report, One UI 7 update will provide some major UI changes which will be applied to different elements including new icons, updated notifications and Quick panel designs.

Besides the UI design changes, Samsung will introduce some new Galaxy AI features for enhancing video recording and editing. Along with this, the Bixby functionality will also be enhanced with the support of Galaxy AI.

Lastly, the One UI 7 will also bring a new frame scaling feature which will be powered by the NPU that arrived with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or later, which provides better image-rendered output.

Regarding the availability of the One UI 7 will be based on Android 15, it is expected that the company may introduce the One UI 7 stable update to the Galaxy devices by October (based n past timeline). Meanwhile, the early access of the update may be live in the next couple of months.
