Samsung has started rolling out the July 2024 security patch update for eligible Galaxy devices. The company has already introduced the Galaxy A series device, the Galaxy A55. Moving forward, the company has started rolling out the update to Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A04e.
Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A04s firmware details
The Samsung Galaxy A04e is getting the July 2024 security patch update with firmware version number A042FXXS8EXF2. The update is currently spotted in India and is expected to be available in more countries in the coming days.
The Galaxy A15 LTE is also getting a new update with firmware version number A155FXXS3BXF1. The update for both devices is coming in a general software package of nearly 250 MB.
The July 2024 update is not designed to bring any new features to the devices, but it will provide internal enhancements to the security of the devices.
