Samsung has confirmed that it will introduce the new Astro portrait, a dedicated camera feature for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 devices. The Korean giant debuted this feature in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
What’s the Astro Portrait feature?
Astro Portrait is a new camera feature that allows users to capture portraits and star photos together. This feature will be available throughout the Expert RAW, updated with One UI 6.1.1.
The feature is based on the Astrophoto algorithm. Three options are available, which allow you to set the time the phone should take to capture the photo.
How to use it?
To use this option, you need to open the Expert RAW and tap on the Astro Photo mode. Here, you will get three options to maintain the speed of capturing the images: short, medium, and long. Now, you tap on the shutter button to take the photos.
However, the ExpertRAW application doesn’t arrive pre-installed on your device. You can do that by simply going to the Galaxy store and searching for the Expert RAW. If you have already installed the application, you can also update it to the latest version.
