Samsung brings Private sharing functionality to Quick share
Samsung is taking its Quick Share functionality one step ahead and started offering private sharing for its Galaxy devices. This will ensure more privacy while transferring files from one device to another.
To ensure full safety, the feature uses blockchain encryption technology, which ensures that all the files will only get directly encrypted to the desired devices and will not breach privacy.
Previously, Private Share was available under the settings, but with the latest development, users can now easily use the Quick Share functionality. It is worth noticing that the feature exclusively works on Galaxy devices.
More specifically, Private sharing only supports the Sammsng devices running on at least Android 10 or above with the One UI 2.1 or late version. With private sharing, users can share files of limited sizes up to 200MB.
The most special thing is that this feature allows users to easily limit the duration time of the file to be available, and after the expiration, the file gets erased; along with this, people you share cannot reshare to anyone.
