Samsung Galaxy S20 started getting the August 2024 security patch in Europe. Earlier the company rolled out the security patch update to the many popular Galaxy S series devices. With the continuation now the Korean giant is expanding the update to more devices.
More specifically, initially, Samsung has rolled out the August 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S20’s both 4G and 5G variants, the update is spotted in Switzerland with the version number G98xxXXSLHXG1. It is expected that the update will be distributed to more countries in the coming days.
Galaxy S20 gets secured with August 2024 update
According to the official documentation, there are almost 50 fixes where 35 patches are included by Google and 14 fixes are added by Samsung which are exclusive to Galaxy devices.
