Samsung is continuously refreshing its devices with the August 2024 security update, while the majority of them have already received the update. Considering that, alongside other regions, Samsung is providing the update to its phones in the US market, another device within the flagship tier, the Galaxy S21 lineup, joins the list.

Samsung Galaxy S21 carrier-locked (T-Mobile, Comcast, Sprint, Spectrum Mobile, and Verizon) gains August 2024 security in the USA, while this update will expand soon to other regions.

The update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, including the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra, comes with the G99*USQUCGXGA version number.

As detailed in the August security bulletin, Samsung brings several improvements to the device’s security via this update, which significantly helps users have a more safe and secure experience.

In addition, the update further provides certain relevant performance improvements along with solving some known issues, optimizing the device’s performance, stability, and reliability, and applying the latest security patch, which significantly provides stability, optimization, and security with the most updated Android security patch for your device.
