Samsung is inching closer to concluding the August 2024 security update proceedings for its Galaxy devices, while there are still a few models that are receiving the update. Considering that, soon after covering the Canadian market, Samsung started dispatching the update to the Galaxy 23 FE and Galaxy S22 series in Brazil.
The August 2024 security update is now live for the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S22 series in Brazil, which will soon follow other eligible countries as well.
This update for the Galaxy S22 series, including the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, carries the S901EXXSAEXGE, S906EXXSAEXGE, and S908EXXSAEXGE version numbers.
Meanwhile, the same update has arrived for the Galaxy S23 FE models that significantly hold the S711BXXS4CXGC version number.
Considering that, the August 2024 security update, as detailed, introduces several fixes for the security-related vulnerabilities for several services, including KnoxServices and Galaxy Watches, adds an improved system environment, and resolves certain bugs and other relevant improvements.
In addition, the update further adds various key enhancements to the device’s overall functionality, along with stabilizations, performance optimizations, and bug fixes that significantly offer a more stable, smooth, and optimized device performance to the users.
