Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 starts receiving One UI 6.1 update in Europe and Latin America

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab A8 back in 2021 in two different versions, including Wi-Fi and LTE. While the tablet has arrived in a mid-tier category, Samsung has significantly infused some amazing functionalities. Meanwhile, the brand is pushing a new update to the device that significantly introduces the One UI 6.1 build alongside other key improvements. 

The Galaxy Tab A8 is currently placed under the biannual security update device list, which signifies that the device is capable of getting two software updates in a year. Now, the device is receiving a new software update, which will be its last update for the year. 

Meanwhile, this newest update has arrived for the LTE versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 that carries the X205XXU4DXG8 version number, and it’s currently rolling out in European and Latin American countries. 

This update significantly brings the highly-awaited One UI 6.1 version that eventually introduces some more ways to personalize the users everyday experiences, offers a seamless connection between innovation and technology, and increases productivity all while keeping the device’s data safe and secure. 

In addition, the update further integrates the May 2024 security patch that helps to improve the device’s overall security to provide a more safe and secure environment while allowing users to worry-freely perform their regular tasks while also enhancing the device’s overall functionalities as well.
