Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Tab A8. The latest update comes with a new upgraded One UI version 5.1 based on Android 13. The latest update brings One UI 5.1, which is the latest upgrade of One UI. According to the official changelog, the latest update brings several features which are introduced under many system-level apps, including Camera, Gallery, modes and routines, weather, and Samsung Internet. There is some extra feature introduced that increases the utility of your device. Here we are talking about the new battery level widget – which is helpful in indicating the battery level of the smartphone and other connected devices. With the new update, you will also be able to change the location of screenshots and screen recordings and save it to other desired folders.

Availability of One UI 5.1 for Galaxy Tab A8

The latest update for Galaxy Tab A8 is now rolling out in two European countries, including Germany and the UK. It is also worth noticing that the update is currently available for the LTE variant of the device. Users can easily identify the latest update by the build version X205XXU2CWC1. The update also includes a three months older security update in the form of January 2023.

The Galaxy Tab A8 was launched back in 2021. It is one of the midrange segment tablets of Samsung. It came with Android 11; however, now the device has received Android 13. As of now, the device has received One UI 5.1 in several different countries. Being a budget device, it may no longer be eligible for any further major software updates. However, the device is still eligible for more software updates which will be available in the form of new security patches.
