Samsung patented a new Hexaprism periscopic telephoto lens; could be infused in future Galaxy phones

Samsung has constantly been working on bringing the best innovations and technology out of its Galaxy ecosystem, with its flagship Galaxy models being one of its kind. Meanwhile, extending the reach of its outstanding innovations, the company has just patented a new Hexaprism Periscope Telephoto Lens for its future Galaxy phones.
Meanwhile, it appears like Samsung wishes to increase its status further of being the leading smartphone brand while also aiming to bring the next level of innovation to the camera system of its future Galaxy devices by infusing an all-new Hexaprism Periscopic Telephoto lens.
Samsung has just patented a new camera technology that will be using the latest Hexaprism Periscopic Telephoto lens, where there will be in total six optical lenses, out of which three are concave that produces light to bulge outwards, while the other three are convex lenses that intend light to come inwards.

In addition, all six lenses are arranged in an alternative manner to allow the light rays to bounce multiple times and move in a zigzag manner. Thus, this arrangement will significantly help light rays to have a wider distance to travel while also increasing the zoom capability.
Undoubtedly, the company is known for making some innovative changes within its flagship Galaxy phones, which makes it easier for the fans to differentiate them.
Following this latest patent, it seems like the future Galaxy phones will be gaining this next-level periscopic layout, which could significantly beat Apple’s Tetraprism zoom on the iPhone 15 Max.
