Samsung has been the leading smartphone manufacturer when it comes to offering software updates to its entire Galaxy ecosystem. While the company is busy rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update to its high-end Galaxy S24 models in Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 models have started receiving the latest September 2024 security update in Canada.
The new September 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z models, including the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, holds the F956WVLS1AXB and F741WVLS1AXHC software versions.
Holding an update size of around 426 MB, the latest update significantly brings several improvements to the device’s overall security to offer a more safe and secure environment while also protecting the device from various external threats.
In addition, the update further adds plenty of enhancements to the device’s functionality and behavior along with adding certain stabilizations and other performance optimizations, resolves some known issues, applies the latest security patches, and delivers new features in order to offer a more stable, bug-free, and optimized software experience to the users.
On that note, the latest update has already started rolling out to the sixth-gen Galaxy Z foldables, while the users can install the update once it’s available on their devices.
