The Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup has already received the One UI 6.1.1 update in South Korea. The company has released a confusing statement regarding the One UI 6.1.1 availability for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4

Samsung has released the official list of eligible Galaxy devices for the One UI 6.1.1 update. Surprisingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are not part of the list. Apart from both these two foldable phones, the Galaxy S22 is also in question about whether it will receive the OneUI 6.1.1 update.

To calm the curiosity of Galaxy users, a Korean moderator has confirmed that select features are coming to these 2022 flagship Galaxy devices, but Samsung’s official response remains unclear.

The statement leaves the users uncertain regarding the distribution of One UI 6.1.1 for these models. Recently, a user asked whether the Galaxy Z Fold 4 would receive the update. The company’s response points out that at least for now there is no plan for AI feature rollout for 2022 models, but the decision is yet to be made.

Previously, the company has expanded the Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 4. Hinting the same strategy may be taken for One UI 6.1.1.

Samsung’s response regarding the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 is quite confusing. The company acknowledged they couldn’t give assurance of the update but forwarded the request for consideration.
