One UI 6.1.1 Update Brings New Calling Features

Samsung has already started expanding its Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update to its older Galaxy devices. Recently, the Galaxy S24 series received the OneUI 6.1.1. The update brings two convenient calling features to enhance the call experience.
One UI 6.1.1 Update Brings Smarter Call Pickup Options
Now you no longer need to swipe long to pick up the call as the new One UI 6.1.1 update brings a new feature call feature that lets you pick up the call with just a single tap. It seems more convenient to instantly pick up the call with just a single tap instead of the time-consuming swipe scheme.
Another enhancing feature the One UI 6.1.1 brings is that it lets you set the speaker as the default sound output for calls. Now Galaxy S24 users with One UI 6.1.1 can answer the call using the speaker.

With the One UI 6.1.1, when you pick up a call, the voice comes from the earpiece, and if you want to go hands-free, you can switch to the speaker. Once you enable this feature, then while taking up a call, the voice will come instantly from the speaker. The description for the feature reads, “Use speaker by default when there’s no headset or Bluetooth device connected.”
A well-known tipster, Tarun, shared a post with screenshots showcasing these two features.
If you want to enable the feature, you can easily reach both of these new features by navigating to Phone >> Settings >> Answering and ending calls. The company will expand these new functionalities to enhance users’ calling experience with One UI 6.1.1 on eligible Galaxy devices.
