Samsung should adopt iPhone 16’s new Camera Control Button
Samsung should raise its innovation bar to stand strong against Apple. Recently, Apple introduced an innovation called the “Camera Control button,” housed on newly launched iPhone 16 models.
Apple’s new Camera Control button, which is housed on the right side of the iPhone under the power button. It is compatible to perform various functions while capturing images and video. The button is a kind of touching sensor, not a physical one like a power button.
On the other side, Samsung is also looking forward to debuting its next-generation flagship series, the Galaxy S25 series, which is highly anticipated to bring a new, gentle design. It’s expected that Samsung will adopt Apple’s newly introduced Camera Control button to enhance users’ capturing experience.
This new button will prevent you from time-consuming clicks to adjust the camera settings at your convenience while clicking photos. This button can perform multiple functions for easy access.
With just a single click on the button, it will open the camera app. If the camera app is already open, then tap the button a single time to click a photo. To open the camera and start a video recording, click and hold the button for a while.
Lightly pressing the button will open up controls like zoom and more. The double-light press will showcase a camera preview menu to choose different controls such as exposure or depth of field. The button is also compatible with third-party apps, which means it can adjust the camera settings of third-party apps.
Apple’s Camera Control button seems quite efficient to enhance the capturing experience. Now to maintain the legacy and give tough competition to Apple, Samsung should adopt it with its upcoming flagship Galaxy device.
