Samsung mocks Apple on iPhone 16 launch, but gets burned in return

Samsung and Apple are the two biggest rivals of each other in the tech industry. Again, both brands are joining the Cold War. Samsung never fails to mock Apple, but its mocking bow backfires on it this time.

Recently, Apple introduced its iPhone 16 series, new AirPods, and Apple Watch Series 10. The latest watch series looks quite similar to its predecessor, the Series 9. Taking this as a mocking opportunity, Samsung responds to Apple’s announcement of new products to troll it.

However, Samsung’s PR strategy argues that the company often engages in unnecessary arguments with Apple over features and innovations, but this time it goes wrong as it backfires, since somewhere it has also followed its same ritual design strategy for so long.

The Apple Watch Series 10 delivers a lot of real improvements to the company’s smartwatch lineup, boosting screen size, thinning down the body, and providing a new titanium material option, and this is before we even start talking software features. A user, Quinn Nelson, on X, also sweetly shared a post against Apple, as he gently mocks Apple by stating, “Beautiful new design.” Uh, that’s the same.

Samsung Mobile US reposted its old post (Let us know it when it folds), stating “Still waiting,” in the context of mocking Apple where is foldable.

In a couple of days, Samsung introduced dozens of new AI features. Now,  regarding this context, Samsung Mobile US shared a post on X, “You know… we may have set your AI expectations too high,” to tease Apple for introducing innovative and more advanced AI features.

On the fair side, Samsung responded by agreeing with the criticism and suggesting that the critic had said it first. However, the critic pointed out that Samsung’s own Galaxy phones, for instance, the forthcoming Galaxy S24 FE, also lack efficient design innovation.
