Samsung began the rollout process of the latest September 2024 security update to its eligible Galaxy devices, depending upon their regions. Several models have already been enjoying the update, while the majority of them are in the US market. Meanwhile, the company has now shifted its focus on Galaxy A-series models as the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A14 units are getting the update.
The September 2024 security update for the Galaxy A55 and A14 5G can be identified with the A556BXXS4AXH4 and A146BXXS6CXHA software versions.
Note that, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is getting the update in several European countries, while the Galaxy A14 5G is receiving the same update in Asian regions and is currently being spotted in India.
Carrying an update size of around 230 MB, this fresh update brings some significant updates to the device’s security along with resolving certain known issues in order to offer a secure environment to the users all while keeping the device safe and secure from external harms.
In addition, the update further adds some key enhancements to the Galaxy device’s overall functionality, fixes bugs, applies the latest security patch, delivers new features, and finally, brings stability and performance optimizations that will eventually help users to have a more stable, bug free, and optimized performance.
