Samsung Account Soon Mandatory for Galaxy Store Access

Samsung consists of its own app store, the Galaxy Store for its Galaxy phones, tablets, and wearables, which significantly offers a good deal of applications, games, themes, and much more while also including the apps, games, and services that are exclusive to the Samsung audience for free. But this won’t be the case for long, though.

As of now, the Galaxy Store could be used for free without any restrictions; however, Samsung just confirmed that from now on, in order to use the Galaxy Store app and services, users are required to log in with their Samsung Account.

Samsung officially confirmed that, beginning from September 25th, 2024, Galaxy users must be logged into their Samsung Account so that they can use the Galaxy Store apps and services. While launching the Galaxy Store, if you have not logged into your Samsung account, you will be prompted to first log into your account.

Thus, after logging into the Samsung Account, users will be able to use their Galaxy Store apps and services, such as installing, downloading, and updating apps. In addition, Samsung further stated that the automatic updates will only be performed when the user is logged into their Samsung account.

Moreover, from now on, Samsung Galaxy users will only be able to use the Galaxy Store apps and services when they are logged into their Samsung Account from the 25th of September.
