One UI 6.1.1 now available for Galaxy Tab S9 series with new AI features
Samsung almost wrapped up the rollout process of the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24 lineup owners, depending upon their regions; meanwhile, now the company has already started following the update to the other eligible Galaxy phones and tablets. Alongside the Galaxy S23 series and S23 FE, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 lineup began receiving the new One UI 6.1.1 update in Korea.
Samsung has begun the One UI 6.1.1 rollout proceedings with its home country, Korea, where the Galaxy Tab S9 series is getting refreshed with the newer AI-centric update.
This update for the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup, including Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra, holds the X716NKOU4BXHB, X816NKOU4BXHB, and X916NKOU4BXHB version numbers.
Carrying an update size of a massive 2.5GB, the update significantly brings several new and more enhanced features, including Galaxy AI, several health-focused, and certain productivity features, in order to improve the overall device’s functionality and take the user’s experience to the next level while unleashing their creativity.
In addition, the update further arrives with the integration of the August 2024 security patch, which in turn includes more relevant improvements to the device’s security that offer a more safe and secure experience to the users all while keeping their devices secure from external harms.
