Gemini Live Now Free for All Android Phones, Including Samsung

A while ago, Google introduced a new AI chatbot, the Gemini Live, that has a natural synthesised voice, but initially the company started the Gemini Live’s journey as a part of Google’s AI premium subscription with Gemini Advanced, and this conversational AI assistant is now rolling out for all the Android users, including Samsung Galaxy phones, for free.

The new Gemini Live is an AI-focused conversational assistant that significantly allows users to explore a new topic or have some surreal ideas.

As of now, the functionality was limited to the users having an AI premium subscription with Gemini Advanced, but now all the Android users will be able to use it and that too for free.

From now on, the new Gemini Live can be configured by entering into the Gemini app or overlay and tapping a new circular-shaped sparkle icon in the bottom right corner. Doing this will eventually lead you to a full-screen interface that consists of two options: Hold and End.

Interestingly, this Gemini Live overlay will even work in the background, allowing you to simply exit the full-screen interface on your phone, while you will receive a notification that will suggest you to end the live session, or you can simply opt out by saying Stop. Also, as usual, the text transcript containing your prompts along with Gemini’s replies will be shown in the history section, where you can start the conversation again from the point you stopped.
