Samsung rolled out the latest September 2024 security update to its high-end Galaxy S24 series in its home country, Korea, a couple of days ago. It’s now high time for the other older Samsung Galaxy flagships to get the same treatment. Samsung has begun delivering the new security patch to the Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy S20 FE in the US market.

The newest September 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, including the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra, comes with the G991USQSCGXH2G996USQSCGXH2, and G998USQSCGXH2 software versions.

On the flip side, the same update carrying the firmware version for the Galaxy S20 FE can be identified by the G781VSQSGHXH3.

The new September 2024 security update is currently rolling out in the US on the Verizon network, which brings some significant improvements to the device’s security that offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, all while keeping the device safe from several external threats.

In addition, the update further includes stabilisations and optimisations to the device’s performance, resolves certain known issues, applies the latest security patches, and delivers new and enhanced features, which in turn provide a more stable, smooth, and optimised user experience.
