One UI 6.1.1

Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 users experience bugs after installing One UI 6.1.1

Samsung has already started expanding the awaiting Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 to older Galaxy devices. Beyond expectations, the update brings a few issues on Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S23 devices.

Initially, Samsung introduced the One UI 6.1.1 on Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices. After a long time, it expanded the update on the Galaxy S24 series a couple of days ago, and recently the Galaxy S23 series received the update.

After installing the One UI 6.1.1 update, a few Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24+ users started experiencing unwanted issues, which is quite disappointing.

The Galaxy S23 users reported that after installing the One UI 6.1.1, the edge lighting was not working while setting it to None instead of Basic. It is a feature that permits users to use the entire edge of their display as a notification light. When you receive a new notification, the edge of the screen will light up.

Another issue reported by the Galaxy S24+ users comes to light. After upgrading the Galaxy 24+ with One UI 6.1.1, the corner radius is not the same as it usually appears, which is creating a kind of inconvenience to the users.

It is being speculated by a tipster CID on X, who shared a post revealing that One UI 6.1.1 brings an edge lighting bug on the Galaxy S23 and corner radius regarding the Galaxy S24+.
