Samsung expands the September 2024 security update to the majority of its Galaxy phones and tablets, while plenty of them are already enjoying the update in different regions. Meanwhile, the company is now extending the update to more Galaxy models, while now it’s time for the Galaxy A53 5G in the US.
The carrier-locked and unlocked Samsung Galaxy A53 5G units have begun receiving the September 2024 security update that carries two different firmware versions, A536USQSBEXH4 (for T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Dish Wireless) and A536USQSBEXH5 (for Comcast and Spectrum Mobile).
On the other hand, the carrier-unlocked Galaxy A53 5G is also getting the same update, which can be identified through the A536U1UESAEXH3 build number.
Since the update is minor, it can have a major impact on the device’s overall security. It introduces several key improvements to the system security while also protecting the device from certain external threats and harms in order to provide a more safe and secure environment to the users.
Also, the September update significantly includes some more relevant improvements and enhancements to the device’s overall functionality along with resolving some known issues, brings stability and reliability, adds performance optimisations to the system behaviour, applies security through the updated security patch, and delivers new features.
This in turn helps users to have a more smooth, stable, powerful, and optimised software experience all while keeping their device protected. In addition, the update is currently live for the carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy A53 units in the US, while the other eligible regions will follow the update soon.
