
Samsung is rolling out the September 2024 security update to its Galaxy A series devices, while it has already rolled out the security update to the US carrier-unlocked Galaxy A54 5G units; it’s now time for the carrier-locked Galaxy A54 devices to receive the update in the US market.
The September 2024 security update is available for the carrier-locked Galaxy A54 5G phones on several carriers, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Comcast, Dish Wireless, and Spectrum Mobile.
The update can be identified by two different A546USQS8CXH8 (for Dish Wireless, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS) and A546USQS8CXH7 (for Comcast and Spectrum Mobile) software versions.
Meanwhile, this security patch presents several key improvements to the device’s overall security and fixes all the relevant security-related vulnerabilities as well in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users while also protecting their device from certain harmful attacks.
In addition, the update further adds some crucial enhancements to the device’s overall functionality by also adding certain stabilisations and other performance optimisations to improve the device’s behaviour, resolves a few known issues, applies the latest security patches, and delivers some new and enhanced features, which in turn will be helpful to offer a more stable, enhanced, and optimised performance to the users.
