Samsung to host PUBG Mobile #PlayGalaxy Cup event at Twitch
Samsung Electronics announced that it is hosting the second #PlayGalaxy Cup at TwichCon San Diego 2024 on Saturday, Sept 21. The event is about popular streamers and e-sports pros competing in a PUBG Mobile tournament on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung announced that the competition will be live-streamed on Twitch. Noticeably, in-person attendees can also experience Genshin Impact at Samsung’s booth. You can directly join the live stream through this link.
Saejin Kim, VP and Head of Marketing Strategy Group, Mobile Experience Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, “Galaxy S24 Ultra redefines mobile gaming to deliver incredibly powerful, PC-level performance in the palm of your hand. This event will demonstrate how our technology enables both casual and competitive gamers to enjoy their favourite titles at optimal performance, whether they’re using a touchscreen or a keyboard and mouse.”
One of the noticeable parts of the #PlayGalaxy Cup event is that it will feature 16 popular content creators and e-sports pros competing in PUBG Mobile using Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones. The teams will be divided into two teams, in which one group uses touchscreen controls and the other uses a keyboard and mouse. The team with touchscreens will include popular streamers Wynsannity and Bella Fox. Whereas the keyboard and mouse team includes popular streamers; for instance, HutchMF, Cinna, and Ludwig.
The intense competition will demonstrate the premium performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and ultra-responsive gameplay regardless of the input format.
