The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series includes two variants: the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, both powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ based on a 4nm process.
The last-generation Galaxy tablets are based on Qualcomm’s chipset. This is the first time Samsung ditched Qualcomm and gone with the MediaTek flagship SoC to power its latest Galaxy Tab S10 series.
This move seems to solidify MediaTek’s position as a major competitor in the mobile chipset industry. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ octa-core chipset assures to deliver significant performance upgrades as compared to its predecessor; for instance, 17% more CPU, 30% more GPU, and 12% more NPU performance should particularly benefit AI applications.
Samsung makes the tablets available in different variants based on storage: 12GB and 16GB of RAM and 256GB and 1TB of storage, expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD card.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra features a 14.6-inch AOLED 2x anti-reflection display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2,960 x 1,840px resolution.
The Galaxy Tab S10+ features a 12.4-inch AMOLED 2x anti-reflection display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2800 x 1752 resolution. Both run Android 14 out of the box.
