Good News! One UI 7 Beta Update Isn’t Just for Developers—You Can Get It Too
Finally, Samsung confirms the awaiting Android 15-based One UI 7 will be available as a public beta.
At the SDC24, Samsung recently unveiled the One UI 7 beta, which will be released by the end of this year for developers. The company confirms that One UI 7 will also be available as a public beta.
A user raised a question on Samsung’s Community forum, and a One UI Beta team member and moderator responded by saying that the One UI 7 beta will also be available to the public. However, the exact timeline has yet to be confirmed, but the company will notify users through the Samsung Members app when the beta starts rolling out.
Ritually, Samsung releases a public beta before releasing the stable version of any major One UI update. However, the case for One UI 7 is slightly different and confusing from previous ones. Since initially the company announced that the One UI 7 beta would only be available for developers by the end of this year.
Noticeably, Samsung is looking forward to launching the official One UI 7 with the upcoming Galaxy flagship, the Galaxy S25, so the public beta might be delayed until early next year. The One UI 7 is highly anticipated to bring dozens of new features, including Galaxy AI, improvements, notable changes, and a few customizable options to enhance the overall system software.
