Samsung has recently brought one of the expensive budget flagships within its proper Fan Edition series, the Galaxy S24 FE. Soon after hitting the store shelves, the company has begun delivering the latest software update to the phone in the form of an October 2024 security update in several regions, and this time it’s the US market.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE began its seven-year software update journey with the first update—the October 2024 security update. Though the device has already received it in some major countries, including Europe and the US.

Meanwhile, the carrier-unlocked Galaxy S24 FE has the S721U1UES2AXI5 software version, where the update is already available for the carrier-locked models in the US.

Feature-wise, there are no such noticeable features and other changes within the October 2024 security update; however, it significantly brings some key improvements to the device’s overall security while also protecting the phone from external harms to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users.

Additionally, the update further highlights plenty of relevant enhancements to the device’s overall functionality, resolves some known issues, fixes certain bugs, optimizes performance, brings stability to the device’s behavior, and applies the updated security patches that will help to provide better, smoother, more stable, and optimized software performance to the users.
