Android 15 Stable Update Starts Rolling Out Today for Supported Devices

Good news! With multiple reports flashing online regarding the launch timeline of the most-awaited and major OS update, Android 15. Google has just by chance confirmed that the new Android 15 will be dropping for Google Pixel devices, starting today.

Earlier, Google went a step closer to releasing the Android 15; however, it was just an Android source code and not the stable Android 15 build. Meanwhile, Google’s sluggish act of accidentally dropping up the notice regarding stable Android 15 launch can now confirm that it’s releasing the stable version later today via several redditors.

Several users on Reddit received an email, with Google confirming that Pixel phones will begin receiving the new Android 15 stable version, starting today.

Google Pixel users should look for the official announcement and OTA update around 10 AM PT. Even though the confirmation was taken back, we still think the rollout will start today, just as Google promised for mid-October

The email consisted of a notice that clarified that the Google Pixel devices that are running Android 14 will begin receiving the latest Android 15 update, beginning today. However, it will gradually be made available to all the eligible Pixel devices through the mobile operators. Also, the Android 15-supported Pixel devices (those who have enrolled in beta phase) will receive a notification as soon as the update is available on their devices.

Interestingly, Google will be commencing the stable Android 15 rollout for its Pixel devices from today; it might add new features and enhancements within the update that were not part of beta versions. By contrast, with the arrival of stable Android 15, it’s expected that Samsung could offer a precise time frame for releasing its Android 15-based One UI 7.
