Samsung is constantly providing the October 2024 security update to the eligible Galaxy devices, according to the regions; meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are getting the update in Samsung’s home country, South Korea.
Apparently covering Europe and the US markets, Samsung has begun rolling out the October 2024 security update to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in Korea.
The security firmware for the Samsung Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 units carries the F956NKSS1AXIA and F741NKSS1AXIA build numbers, while measuring around 432 MB.
Meanwhile, the October 2024 security patch is full of several fixes for bugs and other security-related flaws, resolves some known issues, fixes plenty of security vulnerabilities, and brings key improvements to the device’s overall security, all while protecting the device from certain external harms in order to offer a more safe and secure experience to the users.
Other enhancements include various performance optimizations to the device’s functionality, adding much improved features, applying the latest security patches, bringing stability to the device’s behavior, and adding other relevant improvements that help users have a smooth, stable, and much optimized software experience.
While the Samsung owners curiously waiting for the next major update, the One UI 7, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 can install the aforementioned security patch on their devices when available.
