Samsung announced at its SDC24 that it will release the One UI 7 beta version by the end of this year for developers. It was also reported that the stable version will be introduced in early 2025 with the new Galaxy device. Undoubtedly, the Galaxy S25 series is the first flagship to debut in 2025; by this prospect, it was expected that it would run One UI 7 out of the box.
Now a well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, shared a post on X, suggesting that the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 16GB of RAM and One UI 7.1 will deliver an exceptional software experience. The tipster claims that the coming Galaxy S25 series will run One UI 7.1 out of the box. He mentioned that One UI 7 is the biggest upgrade in the history of One UI or the entire Samsung software.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and the upgraded RAM will surely deliver unmatched performance. The tipster evaluates Samsung’s One UI versions; for instance, the One UI 6 scored 60 out of 100, while the One UI 7 on the Galaxy S24 Ultra scored 85. However, One UI 7.1 on the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to reach 92 points, making it the best hardware-software optimization from Samsung. However, Samsung has to clarify whether the Galaxy S25 will run One UI 7 or One UI 7.1 out of the box.
