Android Auto 13.1 Update Rolls Out: What’s New and Improved
Android Auto is a part of Google’s workspace. Now the developers of Android Auto have released the latest 13.1 version right after two weeks of the last major update.
This time the update skipped the usual public test phase. However, Android Auto 13.1 doesn’t have any notable changes, but new features and changes are being prepared. It is expected that soon the Gemini will replace Google Assistant in the future.
Android Auto 13.0 suggests that the development of the new car radio functions is progressing. It’s expected that soon you can control your vehicle’s FM/DAB radio directly within the Android Auto user interface. Noticeably, there are no official or exact details regarding this.
On the other side, recently Google has upgraded the list of “known errors,” and it is now as of September 30th. Although no major errors have been added. The list appears shortened as it only includes those eros that have been long-lasting since being fixed and thus eliminated.
Soon users will get the ability to choose other phone apps, and the Google system application will no longer be mandatory. This change seems beneficial as it removes the limitation of using the Google system app.
Android Auto is a platform that integrates your smartphone with your car’s infotainment system to allow you to use your phone’s application and features, for instance, navigation, music, calls, and messaging, directly on your car’s screen.
You can often get the latest version of Android Auto very quickly via the Google Play Store (also applies to the beta) or a whole corner faster via the so-called Apkmirror for a manual installation.
