Samsung Unveils the Exclusive Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition – Price & Specs

Finally, Samsung announced its thinnest and biggest foldable smartphone: the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The device features a countable camera setup. Here are the price and release details. 

Before the official announcement, it was reported that the phone would be available in particular regions, and that’s the actual case. The newly announced Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will be available in Korea and is most anticipated in China. 

The release date and price of the device are officially out now. Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will go on sale in South Korea on 25 October at 9 AM. Customers can buy the device through online stores (KT,  U+, and T Direct Shop) or can purchase it directly from Samsung’s online store. 

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is available in two variants based on storage, including 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Samsung costs the device based on its storage devices, which are as follows: 

  • 16GB of RAM + 512GB internal storage – 2,789,600 won (around $2,029 USD)
  • 12GB of RAM + 512GB internal storage – 2,388,100 won (around $1,737 USD)

Samsung introduced the device in only one Black Shadow color variant. The device and blend of Armor Aluminum, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass, and a stripe pattern at the back. 

Noticeably, Samsung doesn’t mention S Pen support, at least for now; it remains to see whether the device supports the S Pen.
