Carrier-locked Galaxy S21 FE starts receiving the October 2024 security update in the US

Samsung is now rolling out the October 2024 security update to the Galaxy S21 FE in the US market.

The carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S21 FE started receiving the security update in the US region, which is currently available on AT&T, USCellular, and Dish Wireless carriers, while the update will be expanded to more eligible regions shortly. 

The October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S21 FE carries the G990USQSDGXJ4 firmware version. Although this monthly security update is merely a patch that just features some important fixes for bugs and other relevant flaws.

It improves the overall security of the device, resolves known issues, fixes all the security-related vulnerabilities, and applies the latest security patches in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users while also keeping their devices secure from external harms.
