Android 15 (One UI 7) could bring a new feature to enhance security

Samsung is actively gearing up to bring Android 15-based One UI 7, which is expected to bring a new feature to add an extra layer of security.
Google already made Android 15 official for its all-compatible Pixel smartphones. However, a few features are still missing, and there are initial problems and undiscovered features. Now, a reliable tipster, Mishaal Rahman, has revealed one of these new features, designed to enhance user security.
According to a report, with Android 15, Google introduced a new feature that will restrict access to notifications containing two-factor authentication codes, but to only trusted Notification Listener services.
Previously, the apps with notification access could only read all incoming notifications, even ones with OTP codes.
The Android System Intelligence (ASI) application helps to check notifications for two-factor authentication codes. In case any are found, then it automatically marks them as “sensitive” and blocks them from being sent to unreliable Notification Listener services that lack the new RECEIVE_SENSITIVE_NOTIFICATIONS permission.
Only particular types of applications; for instance, system applications, watch companion applications, and smartglass companion applications. The default launcher can read notifications with two-factor authentication codes in Android 15.
Since this new feature is a part of Android 15, Samsung could also adopt this feature with its coming One UI 7 software update to add an extra layer of protection.
