Samsung to Provide OLED Panels for iPhone SE 4 (2025)
Recently, Samsung debuted its fan edition smartphone, the Galaxy S24 FE. On the competitor side, Apple is gearing up to bring its iPhone SE 2025. Samsung Display subsidiary will deliver OLED screen panels to Apple for its coming SE phone.
Samsung’s rival Apple recently launched its iPhone 16 series, and now it’s looking forward to launching its ever-first SE phone, the iPhone SE (2025). Reportedly, Samsung Display subsidiary will deliver OLED screen panels for the forthcoming iPhone SE (2025).
According to the report, Apple will go through Samsung’s OLED screen display for its ever-first SE variant. Noticeably, not only Samsung, but China’s BOE and Korea’s LG Display will also provide OLED panels for the upcoming iPhone.
Among these three brands, BOE will be the largest provider of these panels. Currently, it’s yet to be clear exactly how much share Samsung will get for the coming iPhone SE OLED panels.
However, Samsung may face a struggle in the race, since somehow it seems that Apple has reduced its reliance on Samsung. For the iPhone 16 series, Apple chose the LG Display as the main supplier of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which ultimately resulted in less share of Samsung.
LG’s P-OLED display panel stands out as well as Samsung’s display; this makes Apple to reply less on Samsung. If the report is to be believed, Apple will be taking on the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE in the US using the iPhone SE (2025).
A reliable predictor, Mark Gurman, claims that the iPhone SE 2025 will have Apple Intelligence AI features and an OLED display.
