Samsung Starts Work on Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 Models

Samsung recently debuted its Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition foldable in Korea and is expected to release soon in China. Meanwhile, the company is already working on the seventh-generation foldable phones.
In July, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung debuted its sixth-generation foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now the company started gearing up for the coming foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, which are supposed to debut in 2025.
It is being speculated by the report from GalaxyClub, according to which three new codenames come into existence. These codenames are suggesting that Samsung is using them for the Galaxy Z lineup in 2025.
The spotted three codenames are as follows: Codename Q7 suggests Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Codename B7 hints at Galaxy Z Flip 7. Apart from these two, one more codename, “Q7M,” comes into existence, which is completely clueless at least for now.
Recently, it was reported that under the hood Samsung is working on a tri-foldable phone to debut in 2025. So the clueless Q7M codename may stand for the coming tri-foldable, but there’s no exact word for this prediction.
However, it’s quite early to discuss this, but these codenames force us to discuss. Although there’s no official work regarding this, it’s not exactly clear whether the company will launch two or three foldable smartphones next year.
The third codename mentioned above, Q7M, currently stands for the unknown Galaxy Fold variant, since the last letter ‘M’ doesn’t even suggest the hint for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition 2025 device. The recently launched Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition was initially codenamed as Q6A and not Q6M. It will be interesting to see this new Q7M codename will be dedicated to which variant.
