Several Samsung Galaxy A and M series phones getting October 2024 security update

While Samsung is done with the October 2024 security update rollout for its Galaxy devices in every major country, the company is now expanding it to the other eligible regions. Meanwhile, several Galaxy A and M series phones are receiving the October security patch in Europe and Asia.

Samsung Galaxy M53, M33, A23, and A04s are getting the October 2024 security update in some European countries, whereas they have M536BXXS8EXJ1M336BXXSAEXJ1A236BXXS8EXJ1, and A047FXXS9EXJ1 firmware versions. 

Meanwhile, several Galaxy M and A series phones are also receiving the same update in some Asian countries, including India. These devices include the Galaxy M53, Galaxy M23, Galaxy M13, Galaxy M04, Galaxy A23, Galaxy A04, and Galaxy A04s, while their version numbers are listed below:

  • Galaxy M23-E236BXXS8EXJ1
  • Galaxy M13-M136BXXS9DXI4
  • Galaxy M04-M045FXXS9EXJ1
  • Galaxy A23-A236EXXS8EXJ1

With Samsung detailing several fixes for all the security-related vulnerabilities, the October 2024 security update is simply a bug and security fixing patch that comes with plenty of improvements to the device security, solves known issues, and applies the latest security patches in order to offer a more safe and secure experience to the users. 

In addition, the update further introduces several key enhancements for the device functionality, brings optimizations to the device performance, adds stability to the system behavior, and delivers much improved features that will eventually lead to a much more smooth, bug-free, stable, and optimized software experience.
