Although Samsung has yet to publish details for the latest November 2024 security update bulletin, the company is rolling out the new November 2024 patch to its Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE became the first device to receive the newest patch. Now, the company is pushing the update for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series in the US.
The latest November 2024 security update is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S23 series on the Verizon network in the US, while the update will follow the other eligible markets soon.
Meanwhile, the newest security patch for the carrier-locked Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra carries the S921USQS4AXJA, S926USQS4AXJA, and S928USQS4AXJA. At the same time, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra can be identified with the S911USQS5CXI8, S916USQS5CXI8, and S918USQS5CXI8 firmware versions.
The new update seems to be a bug and security patch, though it hasn’t arrived with any major features or changes. However, being a security and bug-fixing patch, the update packs several security-related fixes that will enhance the overall security of the Galaxy devices, offering a safer and more secure experience to the users while keeping the device safe from external harm.
Henceforth, the company is rolling out the November 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S flagships in the US market, allowing users to download the latest version on their devices when available. In contrast, Samsung will begin the highly-awaited One UI 7 beta program soon while working on the other relevant updates sequentially.
