One UI 7 Update to Introduce Significant Changes to Camera App

Samsung seems all set to open its Android 15-based One UI 7 beta anytime soon and maybe in the next week. The update will revamp the camera app to make it more user-friendly to enhance the user experience.
One UI 7 is already anticipated to introduce several changes, improvements, and new features to upgrade the overall system software and deliver a new user experience. The update is rumored to introduce a dedicated new design in the camera app to make its functionality easier to access.
One UI 7 to Split AR Zone, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure into Individual Apps
Presently on the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1, the previous software version, various creative features, which are mentioned below, can be accessed via the stock Camera app’s AR Zone section.
- AR Doodle, AR Emoji, Camera, AR Emoji Studio, AR Emoji Stickers, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure.
Samsung announced that with the One UI 7, the AR Zone, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure will be converted to dedicated apps. This is being announced by a pop-up notice in AR Doodle, AR Zone, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure add-ons in the camera app.
It also announced that the company will change the name of AR Emoji to Galayx Avatar with the coming update. Once the One UI 7 goes live, users can easily download the AR Zone, AR Doodle, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure apps directly from the Galaxy Store.
