However, the company seems to resolve the green line issue, as the recent reports suggest that the company is offering a one time free screen replacement for some selective models.
In the recent past, several reports have been ramping up that suddenly a green line occurred on their phones, even after not having any drop or water damage. Galaxy S21 FE user reported that a green line suddenly flashed on the display right after updating to the latest version, while he was asked to pay a serious amount for screen replacement.
Meanwhile, Samsung has finally acknowledged the issue and begun offering a one-time free screen replacement to the affected Galaxy owners.
Yes! Thanks to the tipster, Tarun Vats, who took it to the X to inform that Samsung India has come up with the solution to resolve the long-running green line issues in some Galaxy models, extending the screen replacement timeline, which was earlier limited to September 30th.
Samsung India shared that it’s offering a one-time free screen replacement for the selective Galaxy Phones that are facing green line issues. These phones include the Galaxy S21/S21+/S21 Ultra, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra with certain terms and conditions. Whereas the policy timeline is only valid until 31st December, 2024.
Thus, the users with aforementioned devices facing green line issues can now get a free screen replacement before the validity ends.
