Samsung’s One UI is its amazing yet highly customizable firmware that offers improved features and efficiency for smartphones. Expanding the same experience to the smart TVs, Samsung has created a unified One UI platform by upgrading its Tizen OS-based smart TVs with a One UI update. Now, more One UI element designs have been spotted live in Galaxy smart TVs with the latest update.
True to its promise (at SDC24), Samsung has already started rolling out the One UI update for its Galaxy smart TVs running the Tizen operating system that upgrades it to the Tizen 8.0 version. Meanwhile, it seems like Samsung is bringing the One UI design elements of smartphones to its smart TVs.
As spotted (via Sammobile), the newest One UI update to Tizen-based smart TVs brought several new and interesting features; however, the overall UI and other design elements are not exactly similar to that offered in Galaxy smartphones. Moving forward, when noticed the Daily Board feature, it displays the SmartThings and Weather widgets that look exactly similar to the Galaxy smartphone’s widgets.

Alternatively, with the Daily Board feature, users can even change the background wallpaper on the smart TV’s screen while also having the ability to place four widgets at a time.
Moreover, it’s just the beginning, as Samsung is continuing work to offer a more advanced yet unified One UI experience to smart TV owners as well, alongside Galaxy phones. Also, the refreshed and refined One UI update for the smart TVs reaches the Tizen 8.0 OS version, which will significantly ensure providing more capabilities in the future.
