Samsung is looking forward to dispatching the November 2024 security update to all of its Galaxy devices, as we are heading to the end of November month. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 also join the trend; they are now getting the security update in the US.
Right after rolling out the security patch in its home country, South Korea, Samsung has started pushing the November 2024 security update for the carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 that’s currently available on the Verizon network in the US and carry the F956USQU2AXK8 and F741USQU2AXK8 firmware versions.
On the opposite side, the security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 units comes with the F946USQU5DXK8 and F731USQU5DXK8 version numbers.
Meanwhile, the Android security update that integrates the November security patch significantly addresses a lot of security vulnerabilities that range from higher to moderate level while also improving the overall system security to offer a secure experience to the users and even helps to protect the device against external threats.
Alternatively, the update further brings certain performance optimizations, adds stability and reliability for the overall system behavior, delivers much improved features, and applies the latest security patches that will significantly lead to a much better, smooth, stable, and optimized system experience for the users.
Lastly, the aforementioned update is already going live in the US, while it’s expected to reach other eligible countries in the future.
