One UI 6 Watch Stable Update Reaches More Galaxy Watch 6 Owners Worldwide
Samsung brought One UI 6 Watch alongside the current Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra smartwatches; however, the update was running in its beta testing phase for months. Later on, the company officially extended the availability to older Galaxy watches, while the Galaxy Watch 6 series becomes the first to taste the latest stable One UI 6 Watch version.
Galaxy Watch 6 Series: One UI 6 Watch (WearOS 5) Update Now Available in More Regions
Beginning with the US market, Samsung has now started expanding the stable update for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic to even more regions, including Europe, Russia, Asia, and the Middle East.
The Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic carry the BXJ5 version number while also integrating the October 2024 Security Patch.
As Samsung elaborated with the official announcement, the newer update will significantly introduce a few select features from the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra to the older smartwatches.
The update is packed with comprehensive yet personalized health insights and an energy score for the user’s physical and mental health conditions, while most prominently, the update combines the power of AI with the overall functionalities for improving health and wellness of a person. With advanced AI algorithms, watches will now be able to understand sleeping criteria to offer more accurate sleep data.
Furthermore, Samsung tops the update off with the new Sleep Apnea feature to help watches monitor your health in the real-time. Also, users will now have some attractive and new options for watch faces for customizing your Galaxy watches, while also presenting the best suite that perfectly caters to all the needs and preferences of the users.
