Samsung Galaxy S25, the base variant of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, surfaced on BIS certification hints at the near launch.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will include, as usual, three variants, including Base, Plus, and Ultra, and also another variant with the ‘Slim’ title. Noticeably, the Plus and Ultra variants, the S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra, have already been spotted on the BIS certification. Now a base Galaxy S25 smartphone is spotted on the same certification.
According to the reports of 91Mobiles, the Galaxy S25 appears on the BIS Certification with the model number SM-931B/DS. The listing hints at the near launch in India alongside the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra. However, the certification has not revealed more details regarding the specs of the device.
Samsung launches its latest Galaxy S-series lineup each year at the Galaxy Unpacked event, and it is already rumored that Samsung will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event in California on January 22. This means that the Galaxy S25 series will officially launch in late January 2025.
The entire Galaxy S25 series is almost expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. Currently, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s hands-on video leaked online, showcasing the impressive design.
