One UI 7.0 to Fix Good Lock’s Lockstar Bug

Spread the love

Although Samsung is hard at work with its upcoming Android skin, the One UI 7, the exact launch time frame stillremains to be officially revealed. It is eyeing to offer a smooth and convenient user experience on one hand; however, a few recent reports suggest, that Samsung Galaxy S24 owners have been facing a weird AOD overlapping issue when using the LockStar module which is scheduled to get improved with the One UI 7 update.

Among a few reports moving around via the community forum, Galaxy owners, especially the Galaxy S24 users have reported a weird issue that is causing the lock screen notifications to overlap on Always On Display while making it inconvenient to read.

Substantially, when making phone lock screen customizations using the Good Lock’s LockStar module, the notifications icons overlap with Always On Display. Thus, it seems like the AOD and lock screen settings that should have run independently are combined with each other, making them display one over the other.

Alternatively, the key highlight is that Samsung has already acknowledged the bug that is causing notification icons to overlap with AOD for Galaxy S24 owners. Meanwhile, the company further clarified that there’s an issue where the location of the notification icons on the lock screen gets automatically linked to the AOD. It’s already being prepared to be improved in the upcoming One UI 7 software update.

Hence, Samsung Galaxy S24 users have to keep patience as the company is undergoing certain works with the One UI 7 version. At the same time, when the stable One UI 7 update is scheduled for January, next year, the beta release seems to be around the corner.
