One UI 7 Beta with Android 15 Kicks Off on December 5
Samsung’s development team is set to launch the highly anticipated One UI 7.0 beta program on December 5. This new version of Samsung’s custom interface, based on Android 15, has been eagerly awaited by users.
Compared to what has happened in recent years, Samsung is behind with its roadmap related to the update to the new version of the operating system of the Google OS and after several postponements should be ready to start public tests, all given a release of the final version in the early months of 2025.
Although Samsung has not officially confirmed the launch of the One UI 7 beta, it seems that Samsung Germany has unintentionally revealed when it will go live—and it could be sooner than expected.
Through its official customer support channel, Samsung Germany responded to an inquiry about the One UI 7 beta launch date. The support representative confirmed that the beta program will kick off on December 5, for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Additionally, they shared promotional artwork that further confirms the imminent release of the beta program.
However the beta program will not be available globally: in the first phase, in fact, it will only be open to models marketed in South Korea, Germany, and the United States. Within one or two weeks, the second beta of One UI 7.0 should be ready and the related program should also begin to become accessible to users in other countries (China, India, Poland and the United Kingdom).
