Samsung integrates Galaxy Buds controls into a media player with One UI 7
Samsung One UI 7 brings dozens of new features, improvements, customizable options, and more, including a hidden twerk as the Galaxy Buds integration in the media player widget.
Surpassing all leaks and rumors, finally, Samsung released the official One UI 7 changelog that includes every single detail of the latest software version. However, the changelog lacks a notable improvement: Galaxy Buds integration in the media player widget, which didn’t get an honorable mention in the changelog.
Now with One UI 7, the media player widget in the Quick Panel shows Galaxy Buds controls, and the media player widget has a Galaxy Buds icon in the bottom right corner. While clicking on that icon, a new page appears that shows various Galaxy Buds controls, including battery charge level, volume, ANC level slider, 360 audio, equalizer, app name, and ANC controls: off, ambient sound, adaptive, and active noise cancelling.
This new addition will be beneficial for those who usually listen to music/podcasts or watch videos on their Galaxy smartphone or tablet using Galaxy Buds. Although a similar feature is already available on iPhones when AirPods are used to listen to audio. Noticeably, for now, these new Galaxy Buds controls only appear to be compatible with the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
