Samsung to Bring Major Bixby Upgrades with Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung is just days away from debuting its next-generation flagship series, the Galaxy S25, which will feature more advanced Bixby.
The Korean tech giant is highly anticipated to debut the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked Event on 22 January. The series will include three usual variants and a new variant with the new title ‘Slim,’ which are as follows:
- Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Slim
However, it remains unclear whether Samsung will introduce the Slim variant along with the standard models or later. According to a new report from a well-reliable source, Etnews, Samsung will introduce an upgraded version of Bixby with the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung introduced its official virtual voice assistant called “Bixby” back in 2017, and by that time, with several updates, it had made it clever enough to understand natural language processing (NLP) and more.
Noticeably, the next-generation Bixby update is available exclusively for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (W25) and W25 Flip but only in China, which can extract additional details from applications and offers an improved interactive user guide.
However, if the new report is to be believed, Samsung will introduce the upgraded Bixby assistant by adding a large language model (LLM) to it with the Galaxy S25 series worldwide. It remains to be seen whether this report will come into existence since there are no official words regarding this report.
