Samsung introduced dozens of new features and improvements with One UI 7 to enhance overall system software but has also removed a few features from Bixby.

Samsung Axes Certain Bixby Features in Latest One UI 7 Update

Samsung has its dedicated voice assistant, ‘Bixby,’ that uses machine learning to perform tasks based on voice commands. Now with One UI 7, the company has made it more user-friendly and enhanced its usability by removing a few features from it, which are as follows:

Quick Commands

Samsung has removed the Quick Commands feature with One UI 7 from Bixby. Now you can automate various actions through the Routines feature and then execute the Routines through Bixby utterance. Noticeably, to make things more clear, you can also ask Bixby, “How to use Routines?”

Bixby country/region setting menu

With the latest update, the “Bixby country/region” settings have been removed. You no longer have to set a particular country or region, as now it can automatically be set to the country information in your Samsung account.

Preferred services

The “Preferred services” setting is also removed with One UI 7. Now Bixby will automatically choose an appropriate service for your command.

Discover page

Now the “Discover” page is no longer a part of Bixby, as Samsung has terminated it with the One UI 7.

Recently, it also reported that with the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung will introduce an upgraded Bixby integrated with AI.
